NKU women 71, Wis.-Parkside 67
Amy Mobley shot 7-of-10 from the floor, including 4-of-4 from 3-point range, to lead the second-seeded Norse past seventh-seeded Parkside in the first round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament in Evansville, Ind.
NKU (21-6) jumped out to a 40-29 halftime lead, but Parkside (11-17) rallied with a 16-1 run in the second half to take a 54-52 lead.
The Norse then rallied with an 8-0 run keyed by four points from Sharell Snardon, and never trailed again. Snardon ended the game with 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds.
The Norse play Quincy at 1 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
