Fitness calendar



Volleyball

• Hooligan's Pub spring sand volleyball registration is open at Hooligan's Pub & Eatery, 3340 Highland Ave., Columbia Township.

Cost: six-person team, $160; four-person team, $110; referee fees, $7 per night.

Play begins April 12 for 12 weeks. Each team plays once a week for three games. Game times: 6-10 p.m. No games Saturdays.

Walk info

Spring Grove Family's Walk for Health kiosk at Tri-County Mall will be open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily through March 31.

Learn about the cemetery's Walk for Health campaign. Spring Grove features a 3-mile walk/run course, free of traffic. Oak Hill Cemetery features a 1-mile fitness course.

Fitness sampler

• A free "Group Fitness Sampler" will be 6-9 p.m.Thursday at the Williams Branch YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, 1228 E. McMillan, Walnut Hills.

Y members, their guests and anyone looking for a fitness program can sample 20-minute sessions of tai chi, water aerobics, step aerobics, cardio-kickboxing, Pilates, spinning or an introduction to a 12-week personal fitness program.
