AHL Ducks set playoff roster



The Cincinnati Enquirer

The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks released their 22-man roster for the AHL Calder Cup playoffs.

The roster includes two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 12 forwards.

The playoffs begin the second week in April.

Cincinnati entered its game Saturday at Utah trailing Rochester by six points for the 10th and final playoff seed in the Western Conference with 13 games left in the regular season.

The following is the Ducks' final roster for the playoffs:

Goaltender: Ilja Bryzgalov, Gregg Naumenko.

Defensemen: Dale Clarke, Josh DeWolf, Peter Podhradsky, Mark Popovic, Harlan Pratt, Andy Reierson, Todd Reirden, Jan Tabacek.

Forwards: Francis Belanger, Mike Brown, Brian Gornick, Ben Guite, Jonathan Hedstrom, Tony Martensson, Cory Pecker, Dan Riva, Cam Severson, Nick Smith, Rob Valicevic, Brendan Yarema.
