Chamber concert: Mischa Santora is back in town for a gig with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, 3 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Hall. Piano whiz Orion Weiss, who wowed the crowd last year, will tackle J.S. Bach's Keyboard Concerto No. 1 in D Minor. Santora leads the world premiere of Dissolutions by Josef Kost and music by Dvorak and Kodaly. Get there 45 minutes early for "Tune-Up!" with the artists, and stay for the free reception afterward. Medal winner: Andrew Garland, opera student at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, has won the Oxnard Gold Medal in the American Traditions Vocal Competition, held March 3-8 in Savannah, Ga. Out of 200 applicants skinnied to 36 quarterfinalists, Garland won the top prize of $10,000.

Resigned: Sharon Hardin Bennett has resigned as executive director of Arts Consortium after a year leading the West End community arts center.

Recently wed Bennett will continue at the consortium until mid-May, then will join her husband in Texas. Details of a search for a replacement will be announced.
