A Westwood man was killed Wednesday night in two-vehicle crash on Taft Road in Walnut Hills.

Walter Cauthen, 34, of Meyer Place was pronounced dead at University Hospital after the 9:35 p.m. crash, police said. The crash was the 11th fatal traffic crash in Cincinnati this year.

Cauthen was driving a 2000 GMC Yukon west on Taft when he failed to stop for a red light at Stanton Avenue, police said. The Yukon struck a car traveling on Stanton. Walnut Hills resident Markeith Banks, 29 , was driving the 1993 Pontiac Grand Am but was not injured. However, a passenger, Latonya Pressley, 25, of Stanton Avenue, Walnut Hills, was treated for injuries at University Hospital and released.
