An agreement between Wilmington College and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College could enable people with associate degrees from the two-year school to obtain a bachelor's degree.
Faculty members from Wilmington College will teach classes leading to a degree in business administration, the two schools said Friday. Other degree programs could follow.
"It will enable our students to apply most of their coursework toward a bachelor's degree," said Monica Posey, academic vice president at Cincinnati State. "In addition, they will be able to finish their four-year degree on our campus, a place where they are familiar and comfortable."
Wilmington President Dan DiBiasio said the program would extend his college's efforts in southwest Ohio.
"The extension will serve more students in a more personal way, which is important in this era of distance education," he said.
