Among the biggest finds in the latest overtime drug sweep by Cincinnati police: a house in North Avondale that contained 134 morphine pills, an unspecified quality of methadone and more than $18,000 in cash.
Police arrested Charles Boyd, 55, as he left the house in the 3900 block of Warwick Avenue on Thursday night on charges of drug possession and trafficking.
It was the latest community team sweep. The police department has been staging 12-hour efforts for the past several months in neighborhoods where people complain about drugs and other crime.
Boyd was assigned a public defender and released from jail the next day after someone posted $15,000 bond.
