It's not every day that one of the nation's top bankers, the head of America's largest consumer products company and a former presidential candidate huddle to share views.

But that will happen next month when George A. Schaefer Jr., president and CEO at Fifth Third Bancorp; A.G. Lafley, chairman, president and CEO at Procter & Gamble Co.; and Steve Forbes, editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine and president and CEO of Forbes, meet at the Fifth Third Business & Market Series.

They will team up May 30 at the second annual series at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. More than 1,800 business leaders are expected at the invitation-only event.

The three corporate titans also will take questions on anything from how the war in Iraq might affect business conditions to where the U.S. economy is headed.

They also will talk about how their companies might deal with unpredictable climates and offer insights about how companies might grow in a fluctuating market.

"This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for local business leaders to hear the perspective of three of the most successful businessmen in the country," Fifth Third spokeswoman Stacie Haas said.
