Hotline for military families
Tristate reacts to war
Military families in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky searching for help ranging from family counseling to credit and budget assistance can use the United Way hot line: 211.
"Military personnel are often given only a few days' notice of deployment; they may not have time to prepare for their family's needs. And that's why United Way 211, The Care Connection, is the best number to call for connection to services," says United Way 211 manager Jennifer Bieger.
The service is available 24 hours a day for residents in Hamilton, Brown and Clermont counties in Ohio and Boone, Campbell, Grant and Kenton counties in Kentucky.
Information is also available on United Way's Web site at www.uwgc.org.
