Support for families
The U.S. Army's 478th Family Support Group, Fort Thomas, and the Family Nurturing Center, Florence, are sponsoring Gayle Holten, a national trainer for Nurturing Parenting Programs, at 7 p.m. April 21 at the Fort Thomas Mass Hall, 950 S. Fort Thomas Ave., Tower Park, Fort Thomas.
Holten will present "Helping children Cope with War." Learn answer some of the tough questions children are asking about the war. Hear ways to deal with the changes at home, feelings of insecurity and the realities seen on TV.
