Encore for Virtual Chef

This time with a twist

CHEF CHALLENGE
Voting has ended.

Find out what the winning ingredients are and what personal chef Roxanne Yoho does with them in next Wednesday's Enquirer.

Here's another chance to tell a chef what to cook.

Our first Virtual Chef story went over so well we're going to try it again.

That time, more than 800 readers went online to vote for their favorite ingredients. The first Virtual Chef, David Falk of Boca in Northside, created a tasty, but long-winded dish called Grilled Salmon with Cremini-Spinach-Asparagus "Risotto di Penne" and Anchovy-Wine-Garlic Emulsion using those ingredients.

We even invited a few readers to watch the chef in action at the restaurant and taste his creation. (Read the story...)

Now, we have a new Virtual Chef and a new list of ingredients. You have until noon Thursday to vote for your favorite ingredients at right. We'll compile the votes and hand the ingredient list to Roxanne Yoho, a personal chef based in Lebanon. We'll let her think about it overnight, then she'll create a dish "live" for us Friday.

Here's a new twist: If you go online to vote for virtual ingredients, we might call or e-mail you to ask if we can bring chef Yoho to your house to create in your kitchen. So this time, you not only get to tell the chef what to cook, she might also cook for you at home.

Just remember to go online to vote before noon Thursday, then tune in next Wednesday to see what the Virtual Chef creates.
