Art Institute graduate wins poster contest
Jessica Fair, of Fairfield, a recent graduate of the Art Institute of Cincinnati, won the 12th annual Mardi Gras Poster Competition sponsored by the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association and Masterpiece Creations.
Essay winner
Kyle Dallman, a sixth-grader at North Avondale Montessori School, was one of six winners in the Ohio Civil Rights Commission's statewide Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Essay and Arts Contest.
Kyle wrote about a Jewish and Christian married couple in his community who open their home to neighbors and are receptive to everyone's beliefs.
