Congressmen to visit troops
Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., will lead a congressional delegation to Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany, and other locations to pay tribute to servicemen and servicewomen who have participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The delegation includes the following members of Congress: Rob Portman, R-Ohio; Anne Northrup, R-Ky.; Mike Pence, R-Ind.; Norm Dicks, D-W.Va.; Judy Biggert, R-Ill.; John Shadegg, R-Ariz.; and Todd Tiahrt, R-Kansas.
The group will tour Ramstein and Landstuhl Medical Center, where wounded troops have been treated. They will also travel to an aircraft carrier and the United Kingdom for meetings with troops.
