Swarm open home sked today at U.S. Bank Arena
The Enquirer and wire reports
Cincinnati's newest professional franchise will try to pick up its first win tonight in its first home game. The 0-2 Swarm of arenafootball2 play the Charleston Swamp Foxes (0-2) at 7:30 p.m. today in U.S. Bank Arena.
Former University of Cincinnati receiver James Scott has been one of the few bright spots for the Swarm, coach Chris Mackeown said. Scott leads the league in receptions with 18, despite the team's third-week bye. He also has 222 yards receiving in the two games.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a plaza party featuring local bands, games, prizes, beer and concessions.
Former Bengal Cris Collinsworth and former Pittsburgh Steeler Merril Hoge will take part in the coin toss.
