Iraqi deck on sale for one day
With an overwhelming response to its sale of Iraqi Most Wanted playing cards, Norwood's U.S. Playing Card Co. will offer the cards from the store in its plant for one day only, Thursday.
The store is at 4590 Beech St. in Norwood.
In about a week, U.S. Playing Card's Internet partner has sold about 600,000 decks. It will sell as many as possible and donate the proceeds to charity, said George White, vice president of marketing at U.S. Playing Card.
"We'll be making more tomorrow," he said.
Thursday, the company will sell the decks for $5 each, with a limit of 12 decks per person.
