• June K. Reynolds has joined the Executive Service Corps of Cincinnati (ESCC) as a volunteer consultant. Reynolds was a purchasing manager in Procter & Gamble's consumer products operation. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Md., and a bachelor's and master's degrees from Ohio State University.

• Joe Addison and David Pitts have been named mortgage sales executives in the Cincinnati office of Heartland Home Finance.

• Nicholas W. Ferrigno Jr., an attorney in the law firm of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC, has been elected vice chair of the employee benefits committee for the Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA). Ferrigno, a member of the firm and affiliated with Greenebaum's tax and employee benefits practice group, was elected to the position by the CBA board of trustees.

• William Mason has been named assistant vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in the Cincinnati office.

• Dick Thomas, Ron Hicks and Andrew Maletz have joined Steed Hammond Paul as vice presidents, and Jack Bonbright has been named director of engineering.

• Bert Hakkinen has joined Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA) as senior fellow in exposure and risk assessment, and technology application.

• Debora Del Valle has joined Xavier University as media relations assistant in the external relations department.

• Kathleen Schroeder has joined CTI, a Cincinnati-based health care service and consulting firm, as director of information technology and Michael Karwisch as assistant controller.

• Maureen Burger has been named director of medical and surgical services at Mercy Hospital Anderson.

• Harold G. Korbee has been appointed president of the Cincinnati chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Korbee who is the managing partner of Wood & Lamping LLP, has been an ABOTA member since 1989. He received his undergraduate degree from Xavier University and his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He is also a member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Association of Trial Lawyers in America.

• Great Traditions Homes received the Builder/Marketer of the Year Award from the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati.

• Express Personnel of Cincinnati received four awards at the Express Personnel Services International Leadership conference - two first-place awards for dollar growth and percentage growth in Office Services for 2002, a Children's Miracle Network Miracle Maker Award, and a Community Service Award.

• Pilot Air Freight in Cincinnati was recognized for producing the Highest Import Revenue and Highest Percentage Import Growth. Owner, Mike Schwartz was the recipient of the Owners Masters Award for attaining the highest level in station revenue. Jennifer Partin earned two awards: Rookie of the Year and the Pilot Golden Achievers Award, the third-highest level of sales excellence.

• Gus Valen, managing partner for The Valen Group, a strategy consulting firm, was inducted into the first class of Entrepreneurial Fellows by the Thomas C. Page Center of Entrepreneurship during the annual Entrepreneur of the Year Recognition Banquet at Miami University.

• Maureen Odioso Godshall, president and co-founder of Loren/Allan/Odioso, a full service marketing communications firm, has been honored by Leading Women Inc. for her accomplishments and contributions to the city.

• Dr. Steward B. Dunsker, a retired neurosurgeon with the Mayfield Clinic & Spine Institute will receive the Harvey Cushing Medal at the annual meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons in San Diego later this month.
