The most expensive commercial construction projects or renovations, based on dollar values ($200,000 and up) of building permits issued recently in Cincinnati and Hamilton County:

Scripps Howard Broadcasting. Site: 1720 Gilbert Ave. Purpose: Foundation. Contractor: Turner Construction Co. Inc. Cost: $1,250,000.

Anchor & Associates. Site: 3186 Harrison Ave. Purpose: New building. Contractor: Reece-Campbell. Cost: $766,000.

Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Site: 927 Ellison Ave. Purpose: Alteration. Contractor: Geiler Co. Cost: $384,000.

Tri-Health Good Samaritan Hospital. Site: 375 Dixmyth Ave. Purpose: Alteration. Contractor: R.J. Beischel. Cost: $337,000.

Procter & Gamble Co. Site: 426 E. Fifth St., downtown. Purpose: Alteration. Contractor: To be determined. Cost: $225,000.

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Site: 2817 Winslow Ave. Purpose: Alteration. Contractor: Messer Construction Co. Cost: $200,000.

The most expensive commercial property transfers recorded recently in Hamilton, Clermont, Butler and Warren counties in Ohio; and Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties in Kentucky, based on dollar values of $200,000 or more (data collected by First American Real Estate Solutions, publisher of the Pace Report, from county records):
