Clones lose finale



Cincinnati's remarkable comeback from an 0-3 series deficit ended Saturday when it lost to the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies 3-2 in Game 7 of the ECHL Northern Conference finals.

With the score tied 1-1, the Bullies recaptured the advantage on a 70-foot slapshot from Scott Matzka that skipped past Cyclones goaltender Peter Hamerlik at 11:12 of the opening period.

In the second period, the Cyclones tied the score 2-2 when Brent Twordik notched his third goal of the playoffs. Halfway through the third period, Stefan Rivard scored the game-winning goal.

Atlantic City plays Columbia in the Kelly Cup finals.
