Get to It

A guide to help make your day

Going out

Organ extravaganza: Internationally-known organist Todd Wilson belts out a mixed program of Bach, Elgar, Bizet and others on the Cincinnati Museum Center's thundering Grand E.M. Skinner Concert Organ. 8 p.m. today, rotunda, Union Terminal, $18. 287-7021.

Holocaust drama: The Off-Center/On-Stage series at Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati lets fly Lift Her Voice from the Darkness, a dramatization of writings by female survivors of the Holocaust. 7:30 p.m. today-Tuesday, ETC, 1127 Vine St., Over-the-Rhine, $10. 421-3555.

Kenny Cowden: The contemporary acoustic guitarist puts out some smooth rock sounds 7-10 p.m. today at the Pub at Rookwood Mews, now offering outdoor patio seating, Rookwood Commons, Edmondson and Edwards roads, Norwood, no cover. 841-2748.

On TV

Top pick: Dueling TV investigators go at it one last time: In the season (series?) finale for NBC's Crossing Jordan, Jordan (Jill Hennessy) discovers a dark secret about her father while trying to solve her mother's 23-year-old slaying (10 p.m., Channels 5, 22), and CBS' CSI: Miami investigates a night club fire caused by pyrotechnics in a story inspired by the Feb. 20 tragedy in Providence, R.I. (10 p.m., Channels 12, 7).

• TV critic John Kiesewetter also says Mark Burnett's original survivor series returns with 82 four-person teams racing through the jungle on Eco-Challenge: Fiji (10 p.m. today-Wednesday, 9-11 p.m. Thursday, USA cable).

The goods

Take a shot: Photography just keeps getting easier. And quicker. And more convenient as cameras shrink. Like the new Polaroid One, an instant camera that's 33 percent smaller and 23 percent lighter than its predecessor, the Polaroid One Step. It comes complete with built-in flash, red-eye reduction flash override, self-timer and even a tripod socket. It's on the shelves now at $49.99, with a 10-picture film pack running $14.99. Check it out at www.polaroid.com.

Planning ahead

24 hours out: Bestselling consumer writer Clark Howard is here to introduce his new money-saving guide Clark's Big Book of Bargains. 7-9 p.m. Tuesday (line numbers distributed starting 6 p.m.), Books & Co., 350 E. Stroop Road, Kettering. (800) 777-4881.

48 hours out: Showcase Cinemas' Silver Screens Classic Program has a screening of the 1956 classic Anastasia. 1 p.m. Wednesday, Showcase Western Hills, 5870 Harrison Ave., Green Township, $1 includes popcorn and drink. 574-7777.

72 hours 'til Thursday: Famous folkie Cheryl Wheeler is at the 20th Century with opening act Andrew Kerr, 8 p.m., 3021 Madison Road, Oakley, $15-$18. 779-9462.
