Last minute

Bar Tour: Burgess Byrd and Giles Davies are among the best young stage talent in town who will be showcased tonight on The Bar Tour, the final entry in the 2002-03 Cincinnati Enquirer Footlights series.

Start at Kaldi's at 7:30 p.m., stroll on to Hamburger Mary's (starting at 8 p.m.) and Arnold's Bar & Grill (starting at 8:30 p.m). Five live sets on the half-hour at each location with an after-tour party at Arnold's.

Admission $5 at the door, $10 for an all-tour and after-party pass. Proceeds benefit the League of Cincinnati Theatres.

Free Fridays: Cincinnati Museum Center kicks off its third season of free Fridays this week. That means free admission to all three museums from 4-8 p.m. Museums are: Cincinnati History Museum, Cinergy Children's Museum and the Museum of Natural History & Science. It does not include special exhibits and Omnimax films. Other free Fridays are June 20, July 18, Aug. 8, Sept. 19.

Concert series: Folk trio Raison D'Etre will again host Behringer-Crawford Museum's Coffee Cup Series, on consecutive Thursdays from July 10-Aug. 28. Here's the sked: July 10, singer/songwriter Bill Miller; July 17, Sweet Alice Hoskins (blues); July 24, the Juggernaut Jug Band; July 31, Steve Crews Trio (jazz); Aug. 7. Ceol Cridhe (Celtic); Aug. 14, guitar masters Eddie Pennington and Greg Schaber; Aug. 21, Mohenjo Daro (East Indian sounds); Aug. 28: Homer Ledford and the Cabin Creek Band (bluegrass/old time).

Series tickets are $40, $31 for museum members; $23/$15 for students. Call (859) 491-4003 to buy a subscription.

Concerts on sale

Tickets for these concerts go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets, phone (513) 562-4949 and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

U.S. Bank Arena: American Idols Live, 7:30 p.m. July 13. Prices are $28, $38, $48.

Riverbend: Hootie & the Blowfish with Big Head Todd & the Monsters, 7:30 p.m. July 14. $27.75 and $17.75.

Fraze Pavilion: A second Sheryl Crow show has been added to the Kettering venue's calendar: 8 p.m. July 11. (Her July 10 show sold out.) Tickets: $45, $40, $25. Limit four per person.
