ST. BERNARD - A 2-year-old girl was killed and three children were injured Saturday when they were hit by a car while standing on a sidewalk.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Vine Street and E. Mitchell Avenue about 5:30 p.m., St. Bernard Police said.

The car apparently jumped the curb of the KFC restaurant parking lot and hit the children, who had just crossed the street. Two 13-year-old girls and a 10-month-old boy were treated at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The children's names Names and the conditions of the other children were not released.

The 17-year-old driver, whose name was not released, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for violating a court order. She did not have a driver's license.
