The plane thunders down the runway, then suddenly the nose lifts up, the earth falls away and you're flying. There's no sensation, or experience, quite like it.
It seems that anyone who has flown since the Wright brothers first took to the air 100 years ago has at least one great story to tell. We want to share yours as part of our celebration of the Wright Centennial. It can be funny, poignant, romantic or just purely nostalgic.
Send to Tempo/Flying Memories, The Cincinnati Enquirer, 312 Elm St., Cincinnati 45202, or e-mail to blowell@enquirer.com. Be sure to include your name, city and phone number. Deadline for submissions is June 20.
