Boone County

Alice Budde

FLORENCE - Alice Verina Rogers Budde, 87, a retired pharmacy secretary at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Covington, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Rogers, in 1952, and her second husband, Bernard Budde, in 1979.

Surviving are a daughter, Betty Knaley of Union; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. and Mass of Christian burial will be 12:10 p.m. today at St. Paul Church in Florence. Burial will be in Belleview Cemetery, Belleview, Ky.

Mildred Nichols

FLORENCE - Mildred Shelley Conatser Nichols, 85, a retired teacher for the public school system in McCreary County, Ky., died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Conatser, and a daughter, Nancy Lee Ford.

Surviving are a son, Bill Conatser of Walton; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. and service 7 p.m. today at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Burial will be in Holloway Cemetery in Whitley City, Ky.

Memorials: Oakland United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 368, Alexandria, KY 41001.

Campbell County

Ann D. Grever

NEWPORT - Ann D. Eten Grever, 88, a retired executive secretary for R.L. Polk Co. in Cincinnati, died Monday at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1990.

Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Binegar of Houston, Beverly Brook of Mansfield, Ohio, and Trisha Weigand of Akron, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Visitation was Thursday. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. A.C. Dobbling & Son Funeral Home in Bellevue is handling arrangements.

Kenton County

Wilson E. Tucker

EDGEWOOD - Wilson E. Tucker, 88, a self-employed businessman and World War II Navy veteran, died Wednesday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle C. Hamilton Tucker; three sons, Wilson E. Tucker of Mountain Home, Idaho, Brian of Whitinsville, Mass., and Lloyd Tucker of Houston; two daughters, Myrna Coffin of Hancock, Maine, and Linda Fletcher of Amelia; a sister, Edna Libby of East Lebanon, Maine; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today and service 10 a.m. Saturday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Covington. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Erlanger.

Albert Underhill

EDGEWOOD - Albert "Spanky" Underhill, 68, a welder for 40 years for Ohio Valley Line, a barge line company in Cincinnati, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

He was a Korean War Air Force veteran and member of St. Augustine Church in Covington.

Surviving are his wife, Janis Durstock Underhill; a son, Terry of Taylor Mill; two daughters, Kateri Thompson of Lakeside Park and Melisa Garnett of Edgewood; five sisters, Gilta Koop of Elsmere, Monte Weber of Cincinnati, Darlo Tanner of Union, Darlene Ramsey of Mission, Texas, and Tonya Weese of Tampa, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Church, Covington. Entombment will be in Mother of God Cemetery Mausoleum, Fort Wright.

Memorials: St. Augustine School, 1840 Jefferson Ave., Covington, KY 41014.
