The Cincinnati Enquirer
Cincinnati Enquirer staffers received 41 awards at the annual banquet Thursday of the Queen City Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Two reporters, Debra Jasper and Spencer Hunt, won the Gerald White Memorial Prize, Cincinnati SPJ's highest honor. They won the award, named for a former Enquirer investigative reporter, for "Ohio's Secret Shame," which showed the lack of care for some of Ohio's mentally retarded residents.
