Legal consultants do life care plans

Legal nurse consultants Cherie Teismann and Lisa Boggs have added life care planning to their repertoire of services. The two have completed the required training for this specialty.

"We prepare life care plans on behalf of attorneys or insurance carriers in order to provide detailed information about future complex services, needs and costs resulting from catastrophic injury and/or illness," Teismann said.

Technical engineers help businesses

A new company in Lebanon offers businesses technical engineering services.

Company offers management help

Three management veterans with complementary expertise have joined to form ESCC Associates. Their services are aimed at companies that need to improve cash flow, control overhead, streamline business processes or better recruit and retain employees.

Chiropractor giving away new books

A Madeira chiropractor will give copies of the new book Chicken Soup for the Chiropractic Soul to those who attend health talks at his practice during this month and next.

Dr. Matt Finke of Finke Family Chiropractic hosts free health talks at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. The sessions are at his office at 7809 Laurel Ave., Suite 10, in Madeira.

Shannon's adds outdoor dining

Shannon's Grill and Bar has added space and a smokehouse.

The East End eatery now boasts an outdoor beer garden and also offers Southern-style smoked meats on its menu.

Tim "Sarge" Turner, formerly of East End Cafe, has joined Shannon's staff and prepares slow-cooked baby back ribs, beer can chicken, pulled pork and other barbecue favorites.

Closeout bookstore opens in Colerain

The Book Market has opened a new store in Colerain Town Centre in the former Fashion Bug space between Thriftway and Wal-Mart.

The new plaza tenant is a Tennessee-based closeout bookseller that stocks hardcover and paperback books at discounts of 30 to 80 percent.

In addition to its inventory of print materials, the store carries stationery, audio books and calendars.

It also has a large selection of educational materials and gives teachers, librarians and school administrators an additional 15 percent discount.

The location opened June 5. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
