Picture of the day: Once S'more
Photo by Glenn Hartong The Cincinnati Enquirer
Meredith Fossett (left) and Catherine Watson, both 13, exchange high-fives after helping make the world's biggest s'more Thursday in Boone County. The 312 summer campers and 100 staff members of Lakeview Lodge at Camp Ernst made 15,000 s'mores, which weighed in at 1,215 pounds. That topped the old record by 215 pounds. Campers first took a shot at the record June 17 to celebrate the camp's 75th anniversary. When they learned they'd fallen short, they were determined to try again.
