COVINGTON - Four Covington residents, including three with links to white supremacists, have been sentenced to prison for terrorizing an African-American mother and her teenage children.

As part of their plea agreement in February, the three men admitted to engaging in a yearlong "campaign of terror" against Gloria Powell and her children, Maurice and DaVonya, U.S. attorneys said Monday.

Devlin Jason Burke, 23, who lived across the street from the Powells with his mother, was sentenced to just over seven years in prison followed by three years of supervised release. Matthew Carl Campbell, 22, was sentenced to nearly six years behind bars and three years of supervised release. Jeffery Dean Henson, 23, received nearly four years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.

On Feb. 7, all three Covington men pleaded guilty to conspiring to intimidate the Powells.

Burke's mother, Kimberly Denise Hill, 43, was sentenced to two years in prison and one year supervised release, after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor violations of the federal Fair Housing Act.
