Enchanting: Fairies are magical, prompting their run in the worlds of costumes, decorating, crafts and gardening. Joe and Mary Kay Grossi of Indian Hill were so enchanted with handmade porcelain dolls, fairies and gnomes while traveling in Nave Brescia, Italy, they contacted the manufacturer and arranged to bring home samples of the bisque-bodied collectibles. Mario Cimaglia of Flowers by Mario in Hartwell was so impressed by the artistry he now has a case of the 9- to 12-inch-high dolls in his shop. Each is elaborately costumed in lace and fabric from Milan's design houses and costs from $85-$295. 8436 Vine St. Information: 821-3196.
Massage snuggie: Baby's crying. What's a harried new parent to do? Just suit up the wailer in the Touch of Love Baby Massage Snuggie, pick a pressure point from the instruction manual (health maintenance, emotional well-being, ease of discomfort and respiratory assistance) and gently rub the corresponding spot on the cotton and Lycra garment. If only it were that simple. But you have to love the idea. Instructions and gift bag included. $38 at Ellabella at Shops of Camargo, 7801 Laurel Ave., Madeira. Information: 561-0842.
