A delegation of 30 business owners from India will be in Cincinnati Friday, the last stop on a weeklong trade mission across Ohio.
The group includes representatives of manufacturing, machinery, steel, tire, air conditioning, food, information technology and consumer products companies.
The visit, coordinated by the Indian Ohio Chamber of Commerce, will be capped with a dinner Friday night at the Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel.
The trade group is looking to establish relationships with Ohio companies.
"We hope to come back with some concluded deals," said Vinod Chandiok, president of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, at a news briefing in New Delhi before departing.
"Our aim is to help some of our basic small and medium industries in particular upgrade their products or processes in tie-up with U.S. companies."
The group visited Cleveland Monday and Tuesday and will stop in Columbus today. During its Friday stop in Cincinnati, the group is slated to tour the Milacron and ZF Batavia transmission plant near Batavia.
