Principal honored
Robert Herring of Kennedy Heights was one of four educators in the country to receive a Global Educator Award from the National Peace Corps Association.
Herring is the principal of Nativity School in Pleasant Ridge.
Senior Scholar
Cynthia Broxterman, a senior early childhood education major, was named a Senior Scholar and received the President's Senior Scholar-Athlete Award at the University of Findlay, Ohio.
The Colerain High School graduate is the daughter of Marella and Stephen Broxterman of Groesbeck.
Dean's list
These students have been named to the spring quarter dean's list at their college or university:
Andy Lohaus, a second-year business major at Ohio University who will study abroad next year as part of his business/pre-law degree. The St. Xavier High School graduate is the son of Kelly and Joe Boiman of White Oak.
Rachel Tepe, a student in the School of Communications at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. She is also a member of the varsity swim team. The St. Ursula Academy graduate is the daughter of Jan and Larry Tepe of Covedale.
