Highlight
Hicham Arazi already had dodged a bullet by saving match point in his first-round victory over Michael Chang. So when he saved a match point in the second set Thursday against Max Mirnyi and then went up 3-1 in the third set, he looked as if he would do it again. But Mirnyi stiffened, rallying to win the match 6-4, 6-7 (7), 6-4.
