Think exotic for lasting impression

Real Style

By Joy Kraft
The Cincinnati Enquirer

Kritikos It might be a bit of exaggeration, but Chris Kritikos, 24, of Montgomery "always had a GQ magazine in one hand" while growing up in Springfield Township, says friend and nominator Scott Rice.

Kritikos, a junior in international affairs at the University of Cincinnati, also studies voice and theory at the Musical Art Center in O'Bryonville. The son of Greek parents, he'll be appearing mid-September at Apollo's Palace in Dayton.

Describe your style: Exotic. High energy. Standing out and making a lasting impression.

You can be found shopping at: I try to go to Chicago once a month and a couple of times a year I leave the country. I like going to Athens, Greece ... Dolce & Gabbana in Chicago, Prada in New York.

Favorite designers: Dolce & Gabbana. They fit my personality and character.

You can never have enough: Watches, cologne, accessories.

Fashion pet peeve: Oversized clothes, Louis Vuitton purses.

If you had big bucks you'd buy: David Beckham's closet. (Soccer star known for his style.)

You wouldn't be caught dead in: A flannel shirt, a visor or anything Abercrombie.

Sentimental clothing: My grandfather's neckties. Occasionally I wear them.

Best bargain: Two years ago in Harrod's of London I found a $2,600 Valentino suit on the clearance rack and paid about one quarter of that.
