Boone County

Abigail Mann

FLORENCE - Abigail Eileen Pierce Mann, a 2-month-old infant, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence.

Surviving are her mother, Angela Pierce of Florence; father, Ryan Anthony Mann of Walton; a sister, Rachel Pierce of Florence; a great-grandmother, Eileen Mingo; grandparents Kim Hourihan of Canada, Gisele and Mike Mann of Walton; Deborah and Russell Pierce of Florence; and step-grandfather Gary Hourihan of Canada.

No visitation.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger. Stith Funeral Home in Florence is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Charles W. Renaker

FLORENCE - Charles W. Renaker, 84, formerly of Taylor Mill, a truck driver for Kahn's & Co. and a World War II Army veteran, died Saturday at Woodspoint Geriatric Health Care Center in Florence.

Surviving are his wife, Helen, and a son, Steven of Fort Wright.

No public services are planned.

His body was donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Stith Funeral Home in Florence is handling arrangements.

Betty Ryan

WALTON - Betty Ryan, 80, a business owner and member of All Saints Catholic Church in Walton, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County in Williamstown.

She was the owner and operator of Ryan's Hardware and Dry Goods, Ryan's Hardware & Implement and Steve's Pub.

She was also a former employee of the Federal Reserve Bank in Cincinnati.

A daughter, Debbie Ryan Rich, preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband, George W. "Ab" Ryan; a son, Russell of Walton; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Church, 62 Needmore St. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Verona.

Memorials may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph or St. Joseph Academy, 62 Needmore St., Walton, KY 41094.

Campbell County

Dorothy R. Fitzer

SOUTHGATE - Dorothy R. Fitzer, 84, a homemaker and member of St. Therese Church in Southgate, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas.

Surviving are her husband, Carl E. Fitzer; a son, Carl Robert Fitzer of Independence; a daughter, Linda Nagy of Florence; a sister, Helen Myers of Southgate; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese Church. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum in Southgate.

Anthony J. Wietholter

SOUTHGATE - Anthony J. Wietholter, 83, a retired plumber for the Central Trust Tower in downtown Cincinnati and a World War II Army veteran, died Saturday at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

Surviving are his wife, Angela; a daughter, Diane Arlinghaus of Walton; a brother, Charles of Covington; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today with a rosary service at 8 p.m. at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home in Newport. A second visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Pius X Church in Cincinnati. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum in Southgate.

Memorials: Wietholter Mass Fund, care of St. Pius X Church, 1662 Blue Rock Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.

Grant County

Mae Stephens Shipp

DRY RIDGE - Mae Stephens Shipp, 98, a homemaker and member of Dry Ridge Christian Church, died Monday.

Her husband, John, died in 1972.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Dan B. Shipp and Kline Shipp, both of Dry Ridge; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home in Dry Ridge. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Dry Ridge Christian Church. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

Memorials: Dry Ridge Christian Church Building Fund, 13 School St., Dry Ridge, KY 41035.

Kenton County

Denver Henson

COVINGTON - Denver Henson, 55, of the Latonia neighborhood of Covington and an Army veteran, died Monday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati.

Surviving are his mother, Mandy Henson of Latonia; four sons, Bruce, Billy, Charlie and Matthew, all of Missouri; two brothers, Jeff Henson of Covington and Mark Henson of Cincinnati; and a sister, Selene Sullender of Latonia.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Peoples Funeral Home in Grants Lick. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. today at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.

Geneva Wagner

FORT WRIGHT - Geneva Wagner, 80, a homemaker, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Covington.

Her husband, William, died in 1970. Surviving are three daughters, Wilma Schoulties of Independence, Barbara Maselli of Fort Wright and Fay Holmes of Erlanger; a son, Wayne of Crescent Springs; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. and service 2 p.m. today at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap, Va. Burial will be in the American Legion Cemetery in Big Stone Gap. Stith Funeral Home in Florence is handling local arrangements.

Jess Wilson Laws

VILLA HILLS - Jess Wilson Laws, 90, a retired cook for the Queen City Club of Cincinnati and a World War II Navy Seabees veteran, died Sunday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati.

A son, Clyde Dudley Laws, died in 1958.

Surviving are his wife, Zetta Ellis Laws; a daughter, Zetta Cirivello of Union Township, Ohio; four sons, Jess of Williamstown, Roger and Daryl, both of Villa Hills, and Ronald of Burlington; a brother, Glenn of Lakeside Park; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today and service 9 a.m. Thursday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Ludlow. Burial will be in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 3200 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH 45219.

Pendleton County

Stella Holoch Record

BUTLER - Stella Holoch Record, 95, a homemaker and member of Eastside Park Christian Church in Pendleton County, died Sunday at her home.

Her husband, Roy R. "Peck" Record, died in 1983.

Surviving are a son, Allen of Dover, Del.; a daughter, Brenda Maxedon of Butler; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastside Park Christian Church. Burial will be in Peach Grove Cemetery in Peach Grove, Ky.

Memorials: Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056; or Eastside Park Christian Church.
