What Is This?
Devonshire Cream or "clotted cream" is a specialty of Devonshire, England, used as a topping for fresh fruit and desserts. Clotted cream is available in some specialty stores, or make your own by leaving fresh cream to stand, covered, at room temperature (6 hours in summer, about 12 hours in winter). Then scald cream over very low heat (don't let boil) until small rings or undulations form on surface. Remove from heat and refrigerate at least 12 hours. Skim thickest cream from top.

On The George Foreman Grill
We use the grill to cook goetta. It's great because you don't get the splatter and popping you get in a skillet. And the goetta comes out crispy.
