Marijuana found growing indoors

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Police discovered an indoor marijuana growing operation Wednesday afternoon when they responded to an Olden Avenue apartment for a report of an attempted suicide.
During the investigation at the residence, officers discovered 80 marijuana plants, a quantity of marijuana, cocaine, grow lights and materials used for the cultivation of marijuana, police said. Jeffrey N. Benner, 46, of the Olden Avenue residence, was charged with felony drug abuse, and cultivation of marijuana, police said.
