Etta Mae Neal

FLORENCE - Etta Mae Canfield Neal, 85, died Thursdayat her home.

Her husband, Charles O. Neal, died in 1972, and a daughter, Ina Ray Kelch, in 1990.

Surviving are daughter Charlene Dyer of Florence; son, C. Wayne Neal of Elsmere; sister, Emma Gamble of Elsmere; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. and service 10 a.m. Saturdayat Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.

Jack A. Lawson

VERONA - Jack A. Lawson, 45, a machine operator for Sterling Industries in Warsaw, died Wednesdayat his home.

Surviving are a daughter, Carissa Steele of Burlington; brothers, Glenn and Brian, both of Verona; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Saturdayat Napoleon International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in Gallatin County.

WALTON - Lawrence "Jack" Riegling, 69, died Thursdayat St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Surviving are his wife, Janice; son, Dean of Villa Hills; daughters, Dana Lemen of Villa Hills, Kelly Riegling of Green Township and Shannon Stanzak of Erlanger; a sister, Ruth of Villa Hills; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. and Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church, Crescent Springs. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright.Linnemann Funeral Homes in charge.

James VanDresar Sr.

FORT THOMAS - James Stuart VanDresar Sr., 52, a Vietnam War Marine veteran, died Tuesdayat his home.

Surviving are a son, James Jr. of Burlington; a daughter, Angella Voelker of Covington; brothers, Carl, Thomas and Stuart Jr., all of Rome, N.Y.; sisters, Darlene VanDresar of Rome, N.Y., Pamela VanDresar and Colleen Price, both of Utica, N.Y., and Dawn VanDresar of Fayetteville, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. Mr. VanDresar's remains will be cremated.

Brianna La'Nea Harrison

NEWPORT - Brianna La'Nea Harrison, a 7-month-old infant, died Aug. 29 at St. Luke Hospital in Fort Thomas.

Surviving are her parents, Renee Lee and Chris Harrison of Newport; paternal grandparents, Brenda and Ernie Harrison of Bellevue; and maternal grandmother, Mary Lee of Newport.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. and service 11 a.m. todayat Linnemann Funeral Home in Covington. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Thelma Greene

WILLIAMSTOWN - Thelma Greene, 91, a teacher for 40 years, died Wednesday at Grant Manor Health Care Center in Williamstown.

Surviving are daughters, Lynn Bates of Williamstown and Jane Bransom of Lexington; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:30-3 p.m. and graveside service at 3 p.m. todayat Lexington Cemetery, 833 W. Main St., Lexington. Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home in Dry Ridge is handling arrangements.

Shirley Overman

COVINGTON - Shirley Jones Overman, 69, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Covington.

Her husband, Harold, died in 1999.

Surviving are daughters, Ruth Borcher of Bellevue and Mona Ramey of Alexandria; a brother, Lyle Jones of Newport; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. and service 7:30 p.m. today at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Newport. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.

ERLANGER - Ernest Dudley Howard, 83, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, died Sundayat St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

Surviving are his wife, Vivian "Jean" Smith Howard; a son, Bill of Crittenden; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. and service 8 p.m. todayat Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Mr. Howard's body was donated for medical research.

INDEPENDENCE - Patsy Lynn O'Neill LeDonne, 55, a tax examiner for Internal Revenue Service in Covington, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis; two stepdaughters, Terry Mazzella of Union and Kathy Meyers of Highland Heights; a stepson, Mike LeDonne of Crestview; and eight grandchildren.
