Heisman Watch

A look at who's moving up or down in Heisman Trophy contention:

Rising

Craig Krenzel, QB, Ohio State: If Sports Illustrated covers can be a measure of buzz-worthiness, Krenzel is getting hot. Plus, the kid doesn't lose.

Eli Manning, QB, Mississippi: Threw for 275 yards and a TD in a narrow victory against Vanderbilt. He holds 27 school marks, though he'd better be good enough to get the Rebels a winning record.

Falling

Cody Pickett, QB, Washington: It's hard to throw TDs when the Buckeyes keep dumping you on your rear.

Out

Maurice Clarett, RB, Ohio State: Didn't know how to keep his nose clean - or, apparently, come clean.

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Miami U.: His chances weren't great, and those four interceptions against Iowa sunk them.
