Tim Carter, The Enquirer's "Ask the Builder" columnist since 1993, has a new radio home: oldies WGRR-FM (103.5).
Carter, whose column appears in 150 papers, will host his Ask the Builder call-in show 6-7 a.m. Saturday, starting this weekend. His show airs before the Denny McKeown Gardening Show (7-9 a.m.), which moved from WKRC-AM to WGRR-FM in January.
"WGRR's listeners is my audience exactly. The people who spend the most money on their homes are 35 to 55," says Carter, who also does home repair tips on Channel 5's Saturday morning newscasts.
For nine years, Carter's show had aired on Hamilton's WMOH-AM (1450). Carter will continue to archive his radio shows and columns at www.askthebuilder.com.
