Picture of the Day: Wall of Honor
Photo by Tony Jones The Cincinnati Enquirer
Kristen Wooten, 9 (left), found a relative's name, John W. Wooten, on a replica of "the wall," a traveling reduced-scale Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It honors those killed in the Vietnam War. With her are fourth-grade classmates Amber Honhell, 9 (center), and Daniel Brock, 9. Students from Clough Pike Elementary School in Union Township, along with parents and teachers, came out Friday to see the American Veterans Traveling Tribute that is on display until Sunday at the township's Veterans Memorial Park. "The wall" is the centerpiece of the traveling tribute, which honors all veterans.
