Take a break from Tall Stacks and visit Music Hall for a slice of Americana with fiddler Mark O'Connor and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Oct. 17-18.
Before the show, stroll through the gleaming 1878-era concert hall, one of the most beautiful in the country. Then settle in for O'Connor, a virtuoso violinist/country fiddler and composer, who tackles his own piece, The American Seasons - that blurs the boundaries between classical and jazz.
Up-and-coming conductor Michael Morgan leads the all-American program, including Leonard Bernstein's Fancy Free.
