'Harry Potter' illustrator does artwork

She has brought a magical tale to life for millions of Harry Potter fans. Mary GrandPre, illustrator for the hottest book series on the planet, has designed a new image for Cincinnati Opera's production of Carmen (above).

Cincinnati Opera commissioned the new illustration that will grace brochures, programs and posters in its 2004 festival. Although GrandPre provided existing artwork for the 2003 Cincinnati Opera Festival, the Carmen image is her first original work for an opera company.
