Boone County

Geneva Sluder

FLORENCE - Geneva Sluder, 83, a homemaker, died Thursday at Mercy Franciscan Hospital in Mount Airy.

Among the survivors are her husband, Terrel Sr.; two daughters, Nancy Sluder, and Marion Counts; and two sons, Charles and Terrel Jr.

Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. and service 10:30 a.m.Saturday at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger.

Christopher W. Wilder

FLORENCE - Christopher W. Wilder, 52, a manager for Frisch's Big Boy Restaurants and a Vietnam War Marine veteran, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

Among the survivors are his wife, Carol; his mother, Willie McCoy; three sons, Brian Noell, Herbert Noell, and Jack Noell; a stepson, Bob Maxwell; and three stepdaughters, Patti Maxwell, Kathy Cainfield and Amy Maxwell.

Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m. and service 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Episcopal Church, 7111 Price Pike, Florence. Burial will be in Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery in Florence. Memorials: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.

Sheree Long

WALTON - Sheree Yount Long, 47, a customer service agent for Citicorp Credit Services, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Among the survivors are her husband, Jim; a sister, Shan Oliver; and five brothers, Bob Yount, Mike Yount, Dennis Yount Jr., Jeff Yount, and Keith Yount.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. and service 11 a.m. Saturday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Burial of cremated remains will be in Independence Cemetery.

Campbell County

John L. Feldmann

COLD SPRING - John L. "Jack" Feldman, 86, of Perry Park, Ky., formerly of Cold Spring, a business manager for both The Kentucky Post and The Cincinnati Post for 48 years, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Covington.

His first wife, Sarah Donelan, died in 1960.

Among the survivors are his wife, Romilda Steffen Feldmann; four sons, Richard, Donald, David and Daniel; two daughters, Phyllis A. Weber, and Tressie Lewis.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon and Mass of Christian burial noon Monday at St. Joseph Church, 4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas. Memorials: St. Elizabeth Hospice Program, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, KY 41014-9988.

Billie Caddell

GRANTS LICK - Billie Josephine Caddell, 68, a retired waitress and homemaker, died Saturday at Copper Mountain Inn Nursing Home in Globe, Ariz.

Among the survivors are her husband, Jim Pitzer; two daughters, Rosanna McGaha, and Pam Caddell; and three sons, Levi, Chesley and David.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and service 1 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home in Grants Lick. Burial will be in Peach Grove Cemetery in Peach Grove, Ky.

William Callery

NEWPORT - William "Peck" Callery, 86, a retired employee for Roadway Express in Cincinnati, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital in Fort Thomas.

Among the survivors are a sister, Vivian Fessler.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today and service 10 a.m. Saturday at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home in Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate.

Kenton County

Morton B. Chapman

COVINGTON - Morton B. Chapman, 91, owner of the Anchor Grill in Covington and a 33rd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite Valley of Covington, died Wednesday at his home.

His wife Virginia Yelton Chapman died in 1996.

Surviving is a daughter, Carolyn Chapman.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. today and service 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Don Catchen & Son Funeral Home in Elsmere. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Memorials: Syrian Shrine Temple, 217 William Howard Taft Road, Cincinnati, OH 45219.

Edward J. Hanks Sr.

FORT WRIGHT - Edward Joseph Hanks Sr., 90, of Cary, N.C., formerly of Fort Wright and an employee for the Kenton County Sheriff's Department for 28 years, died Wednesday at Western Wake Medical Center in Cary, N.C.

Among the survivors are his wife, Lillian Virginia Haynes Hanks; a daughter, Peggy Hanks; and a son, Edward Jr.

Visitation will be 10-11:15 a.m. and service 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Erlanger. Entombment will be in Highland Cemetery Mausoleum in Fort Mitchell. Memorials: Kentucky Sheriff's Boys and Girls Ranch, P.O. Box 57, Gilbertsville, KY 42044.

Pendleton County

Robert Connolly

FALMOUTH - Robert Connolly, 57, an Army veteran, died Tuesday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati.

Among the survivors are his sister, Mary Anne Wehrend; and a brother, Donald.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pendleton County.
