Stella Rosemarie Steffen

COLD SPRING - Stella Rosemarie Steffen of Cold Spring died Saturday at Florence Park Care Center.

The homemaker was 84.

She was a member of Bluegrass Seniors, and St. Joseph's Seniors and was a former member of St. John's Church in Wilder.

A son, Leroy "Bing" Steffen, and a brother, Sylvester Roth, preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, James H. Steffen of Alexandria; a daughter, Darlene Tewes of Erlanger; a brother, Harold Roth of Cold Spring; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 4-6:30 p.m., Wednesday , at A.C. Dobbling & Son Funeral Home, Fort Thomas.

Service will be at 7 p.m., Wednesday , at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Alexandria.

Kenton County

Arthur "Buddy" Hoskinds

COVINGTON - Arthur "Buddy" Hoskinds of Covington, died Saturday at his residence. The retired elevator mechanic was 80.

He was a World War II veteran; a member of Latonia Baptist Church, and a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors for 40 years.

Surviving are his wife, Lynda Gandy Hoskinds of Covington; three sons, Gary of Covington, Larry of Anaheim, Calif., and David of Erlanger; three daughters, Trish Hoskinds of Taylor Mill, Ida Wiseman of Bellevue, and Carol Jerauld of Powder Springs, Ga.; three stepsons, Jeff Wippel, Billy Melzer of Monroe, and Eric Melzer of St. John's Mich.; a step-daughter, Cyndy LeGendre of Sharonville; four sisters, Margie Strickley of Newport, Dolly Clouse of Columbus, Joyce Morgan of Covington, and Rosemary Morton of Burlington; 28 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, at Swindler & Currin Funeral Home, Latonia.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Latonia Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
