Two sentenced in bar robbery

Two men who tried to rob Junkers Tavern in Northside at gunpoint in May, but were stopped when bar patron Harold McKinney shot and wounded one of them, were sentenced to prison Tuesday on five of aggravated robbery.
Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Mark Schweikert sentenced Joseph Person, 18, of Walnut Hills - who was shot - to seven years in prison, and he sentenced DeMeico Hester, 18, of Walnut Hills to nine years.
