The Insatiable Shopper

Scouting the marketplace with Joy Kraft

There will be antiques aplenty at the Cincinnati Antiques Festival, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. today, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at Sharonville Convention Center. But the show's Angel Boutique is the real hot spot for picking up gifts of handmade art and crafts from local artists.

Here's a trio from the selection that includes stationery, handmade books, watercolors, oils, jewelry and accessories. Sales benefit Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Show tickets: $10. Information: 561-0950.

• Hand-painted and decoupage clipboards (left) by Elaine Fening, $18-$28.

• Beaded one-of-a-kind handbags (right) from imported fabrics by G. Frances & Co., $95.

• Hand-painted original design ceramic eyeglass holders (center) by Erin Rosson, $20.
