Here is the daily schedule of Tall Stacks events. For concert and theater schedules, see Page S3. For activities on the Sawyertown Stage, see Page S3.

Today

• 5:30 a.m.-midnight - Metro operates the Tall Stacks Park and Ride facility at General Electric and Coney Island.

• 6 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. - TANK operates the Tall Stacks Park and Ride facility at Turfway Park.

• 6-9 a.m. - Morning in-dock riverboat tours (Tour Ticket required)

• 8-9 a.m. - Hot air balloon races, Yeatman's Cove, Cincinnati.

• 9 a.m. - Festival gates open.

• 9 a.m. - Sawyertown activities begin.

• 10 a.m.-8 p.m. - River Industry Exhibits open in Newport.

• 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. - River Taxi operates, ferrying passengers between Cincinnati and Newport. $5 per person roundtrip.

• 10 a.m.-8 p.m. - Newport Barracks and Encampment, Taylor Park in Newport.

• 2-5:30 p.m. - Riverboat Races. Heat 3 pits the Harriet Bishop against the River Queen. Heat 4 pits the Anson Northrup, Spirit of Cincinnati and Island Queen against each other. Heat 5 pits the P.A. Denny against the Chattanooga Star.

• 6:30-7:30 p.m. - Hot-Air Balloon Glows along the riverbank in Newport.

• 7:45 p.m. - Fireworks.

• 8 p.m. - The "Light Up the Ohio" pleasure boat parade. Pleasure boaters decorate their boats.

• 11 a.m. - Children's Theatre performs Tom Sawyer, Great American Insurance stage at Yeatman's Cove.

• 12:15 p.m. - Tom Sawyer, Great American Insurance stage at Yeatman's Cove.

• 1:45 p.m. - Wild Carrot, American Financial stage at P&G Pavilion.

• 2:55 p.m. - Raison D'Etre, American Financial stage at P&G Pavilion.

• 3 p.m. - Air Force Band of Flight, Great American Insurance stage at Yeatman's Cove.

• 3:05 p.m. - Walker Project, Public Landing stage.
