Projects

The most expensive commercial construction projects or renovations, based on values of building permits issued recently in Cincinnati and Hamilton County:

Procter & Gamble Co. Site: 6290 Center Hill Ave. Purpose: Addition. Contractor: To be determined. Cost: $1,274,000.

• YMCA. Site: 3159 Montana Ave. Purpose: Swimming pool. Contractor: Shamrock Enterprises. Cost: $860,000.

• National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Site: 50 E. Freedom Way. Purpose: Passenger elevator. Contractor: Abell Elevator International. Cost: $296,322.

• Steve Vogel. Site: 150 E. Fourth St. Purpose: Mechanical. Contractor: Hannaford & Briggs Service. Cost: $260,000.

• Steve Vogel. Site: 150 E. Fourth St. Purpose: Alteration. Contractor: Beischel Builders. Cost: $250,000.

• Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Site: 3333 Burnet Ave. Purpose: Alteration. Contractor: Messer Construction Co. Cost: $242,000.

The most expensive commercial property transfers recorded recently in Hamilton, Clermont, Butler and Warren counties in Ohio; and Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties in Kentucky, based on values of $200,000 or more (data collected by First American Real Estate Solutions, publisher of the Pace Report, from county records):
