David Mack has a devoted following for his Kabuki and Daredevil books. I posted a message on the Comics Community message board and within a few hours received answers from all over the world.

One self-proclaimed 51-year-old "comic book geek," who came back to comics because of Mack, wrote: "I had no idea that talent like this was writing and illustrating comic books, now such a misnomer for this art form. ... His storytelling prowess equals his mastery with the paintbrush. A Renaissance man if I ever met one."
