FLORENCE - Homer C. Black, 89, retired owner of Gooch Jewelers in Ludlow, died Thursday at Woodcrest Manor in Elsmere.
Mr. Black was a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Kelly Furnish Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7099 in Covington.
He was a member of the International Watchmakers Association and an official watch inspector for Southern Railway.
Among the survivors are his wife, Mary Moylan Black; a daughter, Tina Crotty; and two sons, Clifford and James, and a sister, Evelyn Gooch.
Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home in Ludlow. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at SS. Boniface & James Church in Ludlow. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright.

May Blevins
FLORENCE - May Chandler Blevins, 70, a homemaker, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.
Her daughter Florence Kidd died in 2003.
Among the survivors are her husband, Kenneth Eugene Blevins; two daughters, Janet Hearn and Joy Kidd; six sons, Kenny Blevins, Eugene Blevins, Frank Blevins, Jim Rose, Luke Rose and Charles Rose; two sisters, Nellie Jean Sanford and Judy Pelletier; and three brothers, Virgil Chandler, Lee Chandler and Robert Chandler.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon and service noon today at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Mrs. Blevins' remains will be cremated.

James Lyons
COLD SPRING - James Frances Lyons, 93, a retired employee for Inland Steel Inc. in Milwaukee, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.
His wife Marguerite Lyons died in 2002.
Among the survivors are two daughters, Bonnie Meyn and Barbara Slupski.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. and Mass of Christian burial at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, 4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas. Alexandria Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS - Rosemary Miller, 82, a homemaker, died Wednesday at Carmel Manor in Fort Thomas.
Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, and of the ladies society and seniors group at the church.
Among the survivors are two sons, Dave and Jim; and three sisters, Rita Schmidt, Mildred Sudkamp and Irene Scharf.
Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. and prayers 10:30 a.m. Monday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.

NEWPORT - Donald R. Wolfe Jr., 48, a steel worker for Newport Steel, died Oct. 17 at St. Luke Hospital in Fort Thomas.
Among the survivors are his wife, Kathy Michael Wolfe; two stepsons, Josh and Ryan Riesenbeck; two brothers, Mike and Tim, and a sister, Sherri Herzog.
Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. and service 7:30 p.m. Monday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Covington. No public burial planned.

COVINGTON - Jasper "J.C." Amburgey, 62, a retired forklift operator, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Covington.
He was a member of Latonia Baptist Church, and of Golden Rule F&AM Lodge 345 in Covington.
Among the survivors are a son, John; a daughter, Judy Peters; five brothers, Stan, Eugene, Lausie, Don and Earl, and a sister, Bert Seals.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today at Hindman Funeral Home in Hindman, Ky. No funeral services are planned. Mr. Amburgey's remains will be cremated. Swindler & Currin Funeral Homes are handling local arrangements.

COVINGTON - Ethell Selm Fahey, 85, a retired sales clerk for Lane Bryant, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Covington.
She was a member of the altar society at St. Ann Church in Covington, and a member of Ludlow Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Harry W. Keuper; a second husband, Michael Selm, and third husband, William J. Fahey.
Among the survivors are a daughter, Lillian Warndorf; and a son, Harry W. Keuper.
Services have been held. Her remains were cremated. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Homes handled arrangements.

COVINGTON - Stephen Miles Goodridge, 42, died Sunday at his home.
Among the survivors are three sons, Ronnie, Anthony and Tyler; and a daughter, Stephanie Goodridge; two sisters, Sandra Jones and Mary Kay Masters, and two brothers, Duane and Mark.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. and service 11 a.m. today at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Hebron. Burial will be in Belleview Baptist Cemetery in Belleview, Ky.
Arthur L. Plybons Sr.
COVINGTON - Arthur L. Plybons Sr., 83, died Oct. 17 at his home.
His wife Jean died in 1979.
Among the survivors are a daughter, Kathy Meyer; three sons, Mike, Arthur Jr., and Chris; a sister, Joan Buerkle; and a brother, Charles.

Donald Glockner
CRESTVIEW HILLS - Donald Fredrick Glockner, 70, a pilot for the Air Force during the Korean War, and an air traffic control supervisor at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.
He was a volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and was a member of Mother of God Parish in Covington.
Among the survivors are his wife, Sally A. Kalb Glockner; three sons, Michael, Mark and Matthew; four daughters, Catherine Jones, Carolyn Bessler, Barbara Heath and Lisa McDaniel; three brothers, Edward, William and David, and a sister, Janet Gallenstein.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon and Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon today at Mother of God Church, 119 W. 6th St., Covington. Entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum in Fort Mitchell. Linnemann Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.

PARK HILLS - Cecelia O. Pickett Mang, 90, a homemaker, died Oct. 17 at Florence Park Care Center.
She was a former volunteer for Redwood School & Rehabilitation Center in Fort Mitchell, and a member of the former St. Patrick Catholic Church in Covington.
Her husband Berry W. Mang Sr. died in 1991.
Among the survivors is her son, Berry Jr.

TAYLOR MILL - Jenny Lee Marcum, 81, a retired dental assistant, and member of Taylor Mill Pentecostal Church, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.
Her husband, Lewis died in 2001.
Among the survivors are a son, Tony; and a daughter, Martha Carr.
Services have been held. Allison & Rose Funeral Home in Taylor Mill handled arrangements. Burial was in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
