Hasek shuts out Stars

DETROIT - Dominik Hasek made 22 saves for his first shutout since returning from his one-year retirement and Steve Yzerman scored twice as the Detroit Red Wings beat the Dallas Stars 4-0 Friday night.
It was the 62nd shutout of Hasek's career and Detroit set a franchise record with its 15th consecutive home win. They had 14 straight during the 1964-65 season.
Jason Woolley and Kris Draper got the Red Wings' other goals and Henrik Zetterberg had two assists for Detroit.
Devils 2, Penguins 1
PITTSBURGH - Brian Rafalski and Brian Gionta scored their first goals of the season as New Jersey's top line produced both goals.
Mario Lemieux got the 1,698th point of his career by setting up Pittsburgh's goal and needs two points to become the sixth player in NHL history with 1,700 points.
The defending Stanley Cup champion Devils were playing their first Atlantic Division game of the season after going 13-2-5 in division games last season.
Wild 4, Panthers 3
SUNRISE, Fla. - Alexandre Daigle scored to cap a three-goal flurry by Minnesota in the second period and Wes Walz added a third-period goal.
Dwayne Roloson stopped 30 shots as the Wild got their first road win in three tries this season.
Minnesota scored three times in a 7:33 span to take a 3-2 lead. Richard Park scored 4:43 in, followed by Antti Laaksonen at 8:18 and Daigle's power-play backhander.
Ivan Novoseltsev, Olli Jokinen and Darcy Hordichuk scored for Florida.
Sabres 5, Mighty Ducks 2
ANAHEIM, Calif. - Taylor Pyatt scored the tiebreaking goal with 11:56 remaining to cap his second consecutive two-goal game, and Daniel Briere had three assists as Buffalo rallied.
Joffrey Lupul scored his first NHL goal and Petr Sykora connected on a power play for the Ducks, who are 0-6-2 in their last eight games against Buffalo.
Dmitri Kalinin tied it at 2 in the third period. Adam Mair and J.P. Dumont also scored for Buffalo.
Blues 2, Flames 1
CALGARY, Alberta - Jeff Heerema scored 46 seconds into the third period and Chris Osgood made 25 saves for the Blues, including 15 in the third period.
Doug Weight also scored for the Blues, who are 4-2-0-1 after playing six of its first seven games on the road.
Flames rookie Matthew Lombardi scored as Calgary lost its second home game in a row.
AHL DUCKS TIE: Keith Aucoin and Mark Popovic scored 47 seconds apart late in the third period to enable the Mighty Ducks to tie the Milwaukee Admirals 3-3 at Cincinnati Gardens.
Sheldon Brookbank also scored for the Ducks, who snapped a three-game losing streak but remain winless in their last four (0-3-1-0). They host Grand Rapids tonight.
ECHL CLONES LOSE: The Roanoke Express (1-3-0) scored two goals in the final seven minutes for a 3-2 victory over Cincinnati (2-3-0) at U.S. Bank Arena. Defenseman Ryan Brindley and team captain Mike Casselman scored for the Cyclones.
CCHA MIAMI WINS: The RedHawks (2-4-1, 2-1-0 CCHA) scored on 4-of-5 power-play opportunities for a 5-2 victory over host Lake Superior (1-1-1, 0-1-0). They play again at 7:05 p.m. today.
